Program Description

The Bachelor degree with a major in Applied Business is a 90-credit, job-ready degree designed for immediate workplace impact.

The Business Major is delivered as three stackable Certificates of Completion (9 credits each) that will build upon one another preparing the learner for greater influence and impact in the workplace. The 3-credit Leading in AI Environments course rounds out the knowledge of the foundational business acumen employers are looking for.

This accelerated program model includes AI skills embedded as a layer within courses (copilots, automation, analytics) while keeping the program's identity practical and applied. AI Coaching Studio is embedded throughout the program, providing learners with personal and professional development along their learning journey.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this program, students will be able to:

  • Identify foundational business principles across key organizational functions.

  • Discover strategies to leverage AI and emerging technologies for business innovation and analysis.

  • Evaluate the roles of agility, adaptive leadership, and social and emotional intelligence in effective business leadership.

  • Develop professional skills through applied problem solving and project-based experiences.

  • Integrate financial literacy and data analysis to drive strategic business decisions across organizational contexts.

  • Apply ethical standards to make professional business decisions.

Admissions Requirements for this Program

  • Proof of high school graduation or GED certification.

  • Original transcripts from all previous college or university study at a college or university that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by both the U.S. Department of Education (ED) and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

Graduation Requirements for this Program

  • Completion of 90 semester hours.

  • Completion of the required core courses with a GPA of 2.25 or higher.

  • Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.

  • Completion of 30 hours of general education requirements as specified (CAPS - General Education Requirements).

  • Payment of all tuition and fees is required to receive a diploma.
