Program Description
Students in this program of study will design solutions and strategies for complex business problems and opportunities, and integrate critical analysis with disciplines such as management, statistics, finance, and economics. In addition, personal management capabilities will be evaluated, and a plan for growth will be designed. Students will synthesize ethical standards in decision-making and strategy development, create appropriate cross-cultural communication strategies to achieve organizational goals, and integrate a biblical framework that guides interactions within the business environment and workplace. Key concepts and applications related to data sources, data visualization, big data, data and text mining, and data preparation and reporting will be addressed.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this program, students will be able to:

Integrate critical analysis with business administration disciplines such as management, accounting, finance, and economics to ensure mission success.

Apply theoretical and practical knowledge to plan, organize, analyze and report data results to support business decision making.
Admissions Requirements for this Program
A baccalaureate or graduate degree from a college or university that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by both the U.S. Department of Education (ED) and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) verified on official transcripts sent by the institution directly to Indiana Wesleyan University.
An undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or higher from the baccalaureate degree granting institution at which at least a minimum of 30 hours was completed. If an applicant's GPA is below 2.5, the student may be admitted on a probationary basis, as established by the guidelines of the DeVoe School of Business, Technology, & Leadership.
Additional Requirements for this Program
Students enrolled in the Master of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Data Analytics must complete all major courses before taking MGMT-522 which serves as the capstone for the program.
Graduation Requirements for this Program
All credits required in the curriculum sequence with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and a minimum grade of “C” in each course. A grade of "C-" or below will require the course to be repeated.
Overall GPA of 3.0 in all IWU graduate work.
Payment of all tuition and fees is required to receive a diploma.
