Program Description
Admissions Requirements for this Program
A baccalaureate degree from an institution accredited by a member agency of the International Council for Evangelical Theological Education (ICETE) or by an accrediting agency recognized by both the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
Baccalaureate degree must have been conferred no more than 5 years prior to admission into the Accelerated MDiv program.
Completed baccalaureate degrees must meet all the educational standards for ordination for The Wesleyan Church or the Church of the Nazarene.
Students who do not meet the undergraduate admission standards may petition the program director for consideration of admission to the program.
A minimum cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 2.75 overall and 3.0 in the discipline of ministry from the degree granting institution.
An official transcript from the degree granting institution must be sent to Wesley Seminary.
Two recommendations including
One from a pastor or denominational supervisor.
One from a professor from your undergraduate ministerial program.
A three to four page autobiography and statement of ministry purpose. The statement of purpose should reflect one’s sense of God’s direction in relation to Christian ministry or service.
A criminal history background check must be completed before acceptance into any Wesley Seminary degree program if a felony was disclosed by the student on the application form.

Graduation Requirements for this Program
Completion of core requirements.
Minimum grade of "C" in each core and elective course.
Cumulative grade point average of 2.5.
Successful completion of the Bible Content exam with a 70% or higher.
All requirements for the degree must be completed within ten years.
Payment of all tuition and fees is required to receive a diploma.
