CAS.CDV.BS - Bachelor of Science - Major in Community Development

The Community Development major is designed to prepare women and men for service in a wide range of church, parachurch, and non-profit ministries. Students choose a specialization and gain skills necessary for service in national and international relief and development agencies as well as in local church-based and community development organizations. The major includes the School of Theology and Ministry ministerial core. Specializations in Pastoral Counseling and Care or Youth Ministry can be combined with the Pastoral Ministries second major to meet ordination requirements in the Wesleyan Church and advanced standing requirements for ministerial master's programs.
