Program Description
The math-interdisciplinary major is designed for students planning to work in a non-teaching career. This flexible major is prompted by high demand for mathematicians able to solve challenging, ill-defined, large-scale and cross-disciplinary problems.

Requirements
A mathematics-interdisciplinary major requires core math courses, electives, and supporting courses. Students are required to complete a major or minor in a related area and to do a practicum/internship (an independent learning course may be substituted if the student is unable to find a practicum placement).
